Window

Almost all casas with lovely doors and windows in Mazatlan are barred or shuttered. The flowers in this photo soften the image of the bars.

I am really enjoying your views of mexican life and places, even if I can't visit as often as I'd like!

I am too, Kate; enjoying your photos of a life and culture so different from St Paul.
The bright light and the strong shadows add even more sculpture to your shots. There seems to be colour and vibrancy everywhere and it must be a most pleasant town to live in. I wonder if you speak Spanish, or whether you need to.

Dear Kate, I guess this is the first time I visit this Mexican blog of yours...How I envy you!!!! I've been very busy plus Blogger blogs are blocked in China so am not really active around DP blogs these days though I'm still posting everyday. I will come again...I've found a fix to get through to blocked sites ;-)

Bravo Kate! You have the super-sized your photo.

I love your window series. The windows in my building are regulated by the co-op (condo) board. Everyone's windows HAVE to look the same.
