When we lived in Mazatlán during the winter months, the view from the terrace both day and night was spectacular. Watching the cruise ships arrive in the morning and then depart at night, sitting in a chair either under the sun or enjoying the cool night air was very enjoyable.

I remember this shot or something very similar anyway. Great idea for today to show this enormous cruise liner against the night.
Fantastic! Absolutely fantastic!
yes, it is and that is one huge cruse ship.
WOW Kate - super NIGHT photo - sure beats looking out one's window at a Minnesota winter snow blizzard!
It is a fabulous backdrop and a place that really is another world.
Magical is the word! What a great view.
Those huge ships are quite amazing.

Super night shot. It looks like the ship has landed in the town!
It looks as though you were quite close to the downtown...so envious.
All lit up and so very shiny .. wonderful theme contribution and wonderful memory.
Nicely done Kate. You have such an interesting view from there. Throw in the boat and it adds a great subject for the shot.
Makes me want to go on a trip. Great photo Kate.
gorgeous Kate. What a scene. great choice
This looks impossible like the ship had taken a wrong turn and sailed up a street!
Gorgeous night shot! Those boats do look so wonderful by night.
