My First Collage

I finally figured out how to make a collage. Since boats are such an important part of the port city of Mazatlan, I feel that this collection is highly symbolic.

Very nice collage!
Does Mario know that the Pelicans hijacked his boat? What are their demands? A one-way trip to Naples, FL?

Beautiful collage. Let me know how you did it...cut and paste or something very tech?

Very effective...I too would like to know how you did it. Did you use Picasa?
My favourite's the first too but that's more because of the scenery.

Thanks for your comments; yes, I did use Picasa and it's fairly simple after you read the "help" instructions. Give it a try--it's lots of fun.

Oh this is just lovely, Kate. Aren't you clever! I love the different boats and the way you've put them together.

Love the first pic on the second row: so simple and beautiful. All the photos work so well together - the eye is drawn from one to another. Lots of stories there.

Now you've inspired me to try this...one day, one day...

What a great collection, water and boats are wonderful subjects. I like the connecting thread that runs through that collage too.

Wow, Kate, this collage is lovely done with the beautiful dominant pastel blue colors. I am a big fan of collage. It gives a good glimpse of the best photos. However, it’s a real art to put them together.
Thanks a lot also for your caring and kind tribute to the students from Virginia Tech. This tragedy shattered us and our deep thoughts are with the families who lost a loved one there.

Bravo! I love to collage.

I have fantasized about being a fisherman. When I told my brother that, he looked at me and said, "You do realize it involves working outside under the sun and gutting the fish, right?"

On second thought, I'll stick to my old job. :-)
