Beauty in Decay

Last Tuesday I posted a photo for Our World Tuesday that was markedly different from this one, yet both are within walking distance of our condo.  There are many lots in El Centro Historico waiting for a developer to come in and transform the property.  But there is a certain beauty in decay for a photographer.

Yes, it could have a bit of a renovation.

I absolutely agree that decaying buildings have much more visual character for the camera lens.

Decay indeed can make wonderful views..... good capture and nice choice for this weeks letter.

There are lots of people i guess who have earned admiration so you should not have to much trouble filling in every letter the next weeks ;-) Looking forward to it.

By the way... in the first round you mention round 13... its 18 ;-)

Have a nice abc-day/-week

I enjoy photographing dilapidated buildings or those in really bad disrepair. Yes, there is beauty there although You may have to look with your heart rather than with your eyes.
