This free-standing little "statue" was located in a child's bedroom in one of the homes on the house tour. It reflects a bit how I feel without Jaime (husband Jim) on our wedding anniversary. Never fear--he will be here in exactly 5 more day!!

Love the 'naif' quality of the statue and wonderfully vibrant colour. It's so balanced.

And your comment! Made me grin at 7 in the morning! Not long now...

Sorry you were without your hubby on Valentines day. :(

I would feel that way too if my hubby wasn't with me on our anniversary, especially so far from home.
Love the flashy red art piece.

Hi Kate!
Is it today? Oh, I wish you a happy day eventhough your hubby is not with you right now. Five days is not a long time, he'll be there before you realize it :)

Sorry I missed your anniversary (just like Jim), but it's only a number on a calendar - the real celebration will be when you are together, right?
So, best wishes and lots of Tequila (is that what you drink there?).
Love the statue!
