I have made a number of canine friends since we've been here. This German-German Shepherd (a bit smaller than other Shepherds) is owned by someone I met here in Mazatalán. Isn't she a beauty?!
She's just lovely Kate. We both posted a doggy! Thanks for your comment on Chico.
You asked about my new camera. It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18. What's called a bridge or super zoom. I'm not up to a n SLR yet but am loving this one - it's taking some good shots although I've others yet to master!
Yes, Kate, she is a beauty. As you know I am nuts about dogs and horses but dogs first. I like all dogs and I wish I had one. Mine passed on in 2006 and I have had dogs for my lifetime. Some 73 years. Now, however, my wife and I decided to baby set dogs. Or my daughter's dog, Mack. I don't want to go through the agony of losing another one. But I do love to see dogs and they bring back a lot of memories for me.
I wanted to say that when I was in Japan that I could never call a dog and when I did they would only bark at look threatening. I concluded it is the language barrier. The Japanese dogs don't have a clue what "Come Here" means. I wonder if you can try this experiment in Mexico and see if it works there for you.

Yes, she is! And I'm sure she's super sweet, too. Love that face. :)
That is a really, really cute dog. We had a German Shepherd when I was younger ('Tambo'), and he was a wonderful companion.
Thanks for sharing her with us!

She sure is! What a good photo.
I don't really love Shepherds, but I think she could wag her way into into my heart. Great clarity on the shot.
