Our Spanish class ended today, and we celebrated our successes and our friendships with a fiesta--of course!! A diverse group we came from different points on the globe: (Top row, left to right: Hector, our much loved instructor-México, Bill-Chicago, recently retired from England, Rollie-Minneapolis, MN. and part-time resident in Mazatlán, and Barry-México and resident of many far flung places; Bottom row, left to right: Kate, Minnesota Snowbird, Cathy and Agatha, Newfoundland. We were very compatible and consequently enjoyed quality friendships, despite our short-term relationship. Perhaps we can gather for many reunions!

Fiesta
Our Spanish class ended today, and we celebrated our successes and our friendships with a fiesta--of course!! What a great group, Kate and what fun you've had and shared in Mexico. We'll miss it when you go home but on the other hand, you always give us interesting photos, wherever you are. and there's always next time - for Mazatlan.
Maybe you can get together for Spanish 2 next winter. Looks like a fun group.
I've only recently caught up with your blog, but I must say I've enjoyed it. I study German with a small group and I know what a great experience that can be. I will look forward to you posts from "home." Safe journey back.

My friend just got back from her Spanish classes in Cuernavaca, and she loved it. When I asked her if she had nice photos, she told me she didn't take any. YIKES!!
