Welcome back Kate!
This photo with its shimmering water is gorgeous. And what a nice warm feeling when we still have snow here.
Kate, I have launched a little words contest on my blog. All the answers will be published next week. You are very welcome to participate if you wish.

That's such a great shot, Kate. Wonderful. :)

I just noticed I forgot to add a (lovely) mural to the post I published today so I updated it. I know you like murals so
here it is.

Love how you captured the sun on the tops of each wave ... I started to say I'm envious of your view but really I'm more happy for you than envious. We all deserve such a wonderful view ... Thanks for sharing your view with all of us.

No, you are not. Give it a bit more time. I am sure you are doing much better than you give yourself credit for.

Re: my memory, it ain't that good! We all know that you, Mo, Sonia, George, Southern Heart and Olivier have a penchant for murals! :D

Kate, You've captured that impossible to catch intense sparkle of the sea. Thank you for sharing it with us. I makes me feel happy just to see it shimmer. I'm right back on the beach of my youth with the sun dancing on the waves. Ah. . .a brief vacation has done me good!

I'll share one of my favorite song lyrics with you, written by Bruce Cockburn:
all the diamonds in this world
that mean anything to me
are conjured up by wind and sunlight
sparkling on the sea

Happy Friday in paradise!
