Carnaval began its week of festivities on February 19th. The decorations were not as elaborate as they have been in previous years, but a restaurant on the Plaza Machado added one of their own above its entrance.
Sounds like everyone's hit by the economic crisis. Hope the carnival was/is still fun though! Love the bright colors of this decoration! -- Don't forget to vote for the April theme! We get two choices this time, thanks to Elaine. Please help spread the word too.
