The Mercado has everything one needs to maintain a household: clothes, shoes, notions, baked goods, canned food, spices, vegetables, fish, chicken, beef...you name it. This fine specimen was in the meat department. I should have asked for a recipe.
“If you knew how meat was made, you'd probably lose your lunch.”

Oh my. I couldn't tell what this was from the portal. Now I sort of wish I hadn't looked. :(
That looks more like a horse head than a cow. I been there and watched and help in butchering. It is a messy process.
Kate, I don't believe I could shop in this meat department!
If you get that recipe, pass it on. Just in case I ever get brave enough
I surely agree with K.D.Lang!!
Dios! Que impresionante!
Uggh. I could not buy my meat like this. I am glad you enjoyed the Chihuly Saffron Tower on my site for theme day. I have a daytime photo of the Saffron Tower up today. I did go and check out the sunburst Chihuly you recommended and it is gorgeous. It would have been quite the experience to see it being put together. I would have liked that also. Thanks for your comments.
Those teeth and nostrils really got to me. Glad breakfast is long over.
Its so raw looking. I think that's hard to see.
That is gruesome!
