Thursday Night Entertainment

There are lots of different kinds of entertainment in Mazatlán: fine restaurants, street food carts, sports bars, cinemas, theatres, night clubs and many others. Our favorite restaurant, Te Amo Lucy, has a special Thursday night show...old episodes of The Twilight Zone!! This is where we'll spend part of our evening while eating Lucy's delicious food (or the special sandwich...the price is in pesos, not US$).

cela me rappelle les cinémas de mon enfance, trois films de cowboy pour le prix d'un et la folie dans la salle (que des enfants, que les parents étaient content de se débarrasser le temps d'une après-midi)

this reminds me of the cinemas of my childhood, three cowboy films for the price of one and madness in the room (as children, that parents were happy to get rid of the time one afternoon)

I think I have seen all of the TZ episodes, but that wouldnt keep me from going and seeing it on a wide screen while having a bite to eat. Sounds like a fun evening to me.

Response to JM: This restaurant, Te Amo Lucy, is just down the block from the central Plaza Machado, where Mexican families flock to on Fridays and Saturday. During the week the area is filled with tourists and expats. The owners probably wouldn't provide this on the week-end, but it's obviously directed toward Canadian and American expats and tourists. The restaurant has a loyal following of nationals, also. Lucy is the main chef and is Mexican, using many family recipes. The menu itself is both English and Spanish.

Kate, thank you for your answer, that's what I thought. Even so I think it would be much nicer to have it written on both languages as on the menu... but it's just my opinion, no big deal... :-)))

I hope so! 60 USD seems a bit pricey for dinner and three movies.

A relief to find that that was pesos. A very fun and inexpensive way to spend a Thursday evening.
