El Faro, the Lighthouse

My son is flying from Minnesota to Mazatlán to visit for a week, arriving on the fourth of April. One of the favorite activities for some people, but not for me, is to hike up to the lighthouse on that very steep hill. I'm going to challenge him to hike to El Faro. Do you think he'll do it?

I guess the view from the top is beautiful, enough reason to do it.

I suppose all younger people would do something like hike to the lighthouse. Kala from Honolulu had some dramatic photos on her blog of hikes along the ridges of mountains in Hawaii. I was simply stunned that sane human beings would do places like that let along walk along them.

I was thinking when I saw the pic that I bet it would be neat to hike up it. I'd try.
