Patio Fountain
This fountain is located in the entrance patio of a new friend in Mazatlan. While here we are going to volunteer with Amigos de los Animales. We came to this casa to find out about the work with animals done by volunteers who are primaily expats working with some Mexicans to take care of the astronomically high number of stray cats and dogs. Our task is to take the dogs for walks to give the employees a chance to do their jobs. One of the directors told us that the often-dispirited animals get a new lease on life with attention and love from humans, which I and Jaime are definitely qualified to provide. Better than cleaning cages!!

What a kind and fulfilling thing to do with your Hubby. I like the shot of the fountain too.
Good for you! I hope that you can get some happiness back to the dogs & cats.
It's a win-win situation, isn't it?
Beautiful fountain!
love the decorative cameos one sees all over Mexico, the tiled fountain is cute. And walking sad dogs, what a great idea, hope you have many happy walks together and see a daily improvement in their demeanour too! It will be so gratifying!
That is soooooo kind of you folks to volunteer during your vacation. I am sure that the animals will love it! The fountain is very nice. I love the very colorful tiles with the fish on them. :) :)
beautiful fountain and what great work you are doing for those dogs, Kate.
Beautiful fountain....but even more beautiful is what you are doing to help the dogs! Wow!
A great way for humans and animals alike to get their daily exercise. Fantastic!
