Morning at the Mercado

Two different approaches to being photographed. The man unloading the limes was eager to pose. The second man was not opposed to posing, but when urged to cooperate by his friends he just said, "I'm too busy to stop!" He was and they unloaded the truck with amazing speed!!

It seems like most people during your trip didn't mind being photographed. I'm usually hesitant on photographing strangers unless they're performing. You must have a friendly face.

Happy guys Kate and very interesting the different take on being photographed. I've found just that too. What is it tho - market people are always so cheerful, aren't they? Nice candid shots.

The guy selling the limes should run for office :-)

that first guy looks so friendly, he made me smile. Thanks!

If you get a chance, I need some help explaining the winter carnival and the medallion hunt.

Looks like a package of excellent limes! (Ship a couple of these bags northward, please! ;) )

I don't ride, much to the happiness of the horses in this stable. ;) I have too many hobbys...according to my wife. Her sister takes lessons at the stable at the link I provided below. Cooper and Nicki are private owned horses boarded at this stable.

Being a non rider, I really enjoyed my visit here. Such beautiful animals. Here is the link;

Great shots, I like both of them. The two men look friendly and hard working.

This is for avcr8teur: I'm posting this from Mazatlan; I've lived here all my life. People in these photographs don't seem nice nor friendly... They are! American citizens used to be like this no more than 20 years ago. What happened? Why do all of you seem to be paranoid? Where did the "American Way of Life" go?

The first guy looks like a fun person to hang out with. Great smile on his face.

that is pretty funny, the reactions to being photographed - I would most likely be the second person haha!

still you managed two lovely candid shots, and it is always cool to see how people live their day to day lives in other places.
