March Theme-Glass: Let There Be Light!

On a recent house tour, I noticed these two very different light sources in the same, stately home, owned by an old Mazatlan family. The glass chandelier is magnificient, no?!

Today many CDP bloggers are posting photos to represent the March theme day selection: glass. Keeping in mind that time zones make a difference when the snapshots appear, visit as many as you can to see the imaginative selections. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants.

That chandelier is so beautiful. Totally glass and looks old. Just perfect for today, Kate. Really lovely second photo too. Happy Theme Day to you both.

The glass work looks great. Your Carnaval series are very illustrative of these days!

I am guessing that it weighs a ton and photographs so well. On my head no. Nice post, Kate.

I like the way you've caught the chandelier between the two windows.

the chandelier is beautiful. Reminds me of old Hindi films where oppulence means a huge dangling chandelier.

Happy March to you!

Reminds me of those old fashioned grand hotel lobbies that have become faded ladies. Aged but still sparkling with life.

Truly magnificent! That window cleaning act I saw was one of the stupidest things I have ever seen.
