Every year the Orfanatorio Mazatlán has a fund raising gala musical, which is eagerly anticipated and well-attended by the people living here. I went last year and was enthralled by the talent and range of the vocalists who accompanied the concert music. Equally as good, this year there was a string quintet: bass, cello, viola, and 2 violins plus a solo clarinetist and flauist. It was a magical evening!
