This is another statue that was placed strategically up and down the Malecon during Carnaval. This photo with spectators gives an idea of the statues' scale.

Huge and fun :) Are these statues until Eastern? Happy weekend to you and yours!
oh you are missing some major snow removal. It just turned midnight, but I already have a three day weekend in place because of our current snow storm.
Enjoy the wonderful weather as wifey and I are hurting for a get away right now. [we usually take one in February, but we have our extra money involved in LPN to RN nursing school for my dear wifey.

Yet another marvellous photograph from your beautiful part of the world. Love the way the blue of his trousers picks up the blue of the sky.

Looks like he's slightly tipping backwards into the ocean ;-)
I am smiling....:)
If that statue was in the twin cities today, we'd only see its hat!

the statues of the carnival are really very beautiful. I wish you a good weekend
My goodness, they are huge. Great colors and composition.
Is it a blown up balloon statue? I see the lines attached to it to prevent it from floating away.
HA! This guy sort of makes me laugh. :)
