The Birds

I wonder how Alfred Hitchcock would react to this photo? These birds are everywhere. I could easily do without them because they leave their droppings everywhere. How healthy is that?! But, the children love them!

He certainly seems to be enjoying it. Me? No thanks. I get the willies thinking about all those wings whirring around my head.

That little boy's very sensible to be keeping his fingers so tightly tucked under his arms... looks like he's having fun though!

This is like San Marco Square in Venezia!... and yes you're right, those birds really make lot of damage to buildings in the surroundings. In Madrid there is this problem too, and sometimes they hunt (remove) a lot of them...
But he's having a grerat time indeed!

This is the point: the children seem to love them and I don't know why. Personally I have some problem with pidgeons. I cross the street if one is on my way.

Pigeons everywhere. I'm going to do a pigeon post on Friday 23rd March with links to this and other DP pigeons so see you then.

Pigeons are rats with wings. They carry diseases and are kinda dirty.

But the photo is absolutely beautiful. Hmmm! I wonder what the public expression would be if the kid was surrounded by rats.

I cant agree with you more - only if the birds were black! The city
have started to put up signs not to feed the birds due to the sanitation issues in Waikiki
