Mexican Army Soldier

This is a photo that I took surreptiously after our bus from Tepic to Mazatlan was stopped by soldiers in the Mexican Army who searched our checked luggage and items on the bus for drugs and firearms. I had to take pictures in a hurried, secretive fashion without too much attention to focus and composition. Of course, I was detected and was politely but firmly asked to stop. The soldiers were less intimidating that the guard dogs!

Good morning Kate!
You are in safe - obviously - when army men are taking care about you :)
And now you find at least someone, who did not come to a photo with you.

About yesterday`s post - I think, that I will leave after that babies out of my blog :))

I wish you pleasant day and wonderful weekend!

Kate if you're intent on becoming a Super Spy, perhaps a buttom-cam or some other micro-cam will be a worthwhile investment!

You're definitely a brave gal. A photojournalist risking it all! Who knows what could have happened? Take care!

Brave lady and such dedication to the DP. I love it.
the High School and College group from our church has worked at an orphanage and built homes for families in Tepic. They have a wonderful time helping, building and encourging.

Seems like we all get braver than we should when we want to take some pictures to post. I'm glad you were simply warned and not arrested, Kate.
