Flamingo Night

This evening of Spanish dance took place at the Antonio Haas Teatro and is part of Vamos Haciendo Publico. For only 60 pesos each, a friend and I enjoyed several hours of rhythmic music and dance. I loved being one of the few gringos in the audience who had sense enough to enjoy some local talent!

When I saw your photo it brought back some fond memories... I traveled to Spain with a foreign travel program in high school (23 years ago, Yikes!) and spent my 15th birthday at a dinner where they had a whole show of Flamenco dancers during the dinner. It was a fun time. I really like your photos and thanks for the memories...

Is that a Spanish dance group on tour or a local dance company?

So you had a Flamenco night. Did you find it actually interesting or at least a bit noisy?
Enjoy your weekend and vacation!

These are great shots of the flamingo. All look like the same dancer, except upper right, true?
