House Tour Hostess

I look forward to the house tours that are organized in Mazatlan because the homes are all different and represent different life styles. My favorite today was Hacienda el Recreo in El Centro, and the lovely young woman you see here is the daughter-in-law of the owners of the casa.

Great photo. House tours sound like fun. It must be neat to see different decorating styles of other countries.

She's lovely, and you did a good job capturing her gracious appearance. I love home tours. Selma, Ala., will have its spring pilgrimage in March.

Pretty lady. You've really caught her so well. Looks bright as a button. Are these tours of private houses? Why would people open their houses to the public? Or perhaps it's like the Ancestral homes in England??

Mona Lisa's smile ;-)

I remember you taking the tour last season - are they covering different houses each year?

I understand Jilly's bafflement - I don't recall any such tradition in Europe unless, as she mentioned, it would be a historical or ancestral home.
Different cultures...

What a beautiful dress on a beautiful lady. I especially like what you did with the lighting on this photo.

lovely, sort of enigmatic Mona Lisa smile.. That ribboned blouse is so unique, is it a traditional design?
