Clase de español

Twice a week for one and a half hours each class period, 7 of us meet with our profesor, Hector, to learn some Spanish. And, he piles it on--with patience and humor, tho. It's tough going for me but I keep trying!!

nice people!
it's good that you can practice your spanish outside of the classes.
a friend of mine is taking 2 intensive spanish courses but doesn't have anybody to practice with which can be a real bummer.

My Spanish is far far away...but like you, I'd want to start learning it again: I spent a few days in Barcelona last week and my motivation has waked up for these "r" and "j" so difficult for a French speaking! For example, "Guadalaraja" is a real nightmare to say! Is it hard for you too?

Lovely choice of photos! Keep up the good work. I wish I had the patience to learn a language.

It's good to know several languages, especially Spanish! Your class looks like you're having lots of fun.

Adelante con las clases de español y desde ya cuenta conmigo para cualquier duda. Y para que practiques un poco lee esto: "rapido ruedan los carros cargados de azucar al ferrocarril":)

Kate, that's great that you're sticking with language classes. Languages are so tough to learn! I've been trying to learn French for years, and I'm a total failure. :)
