There is so much cultural difference between Mazatlan and the country where I live. Open houses, memorials to young folk in the streets and the artwork that you show us throughout the town. The greatest similarity must be the markets where even the produce on offer would be quite different. The culture and history of Australia is embryonic, compared with your town. I don't think that I have really ever heard much Spanish spoken here. Estas fotos son maravillosas, Kate.

The eye rests, the imagination runs.

Is it on the floor or on a wall? I like the colours.
Just lovely, Kate. I'm enjoying this house tour.
"Ave María, grátia plena… Ora pro nobis peccatóribus"
That is beautiful. I have no talent for drawing or painting, and when I see something like this I realize how much work went into it.
This is a beautiful icon made of tiles. The colors are so rich. Nice shot Kate.
Very nice!! Mosaics always work well, specialy this colorful ones.
Which room is it in?
And re: headboard from yesterday's post - I use a wrought iron screen I found in Hobby Lobby for a headboard in my guest room!
So lovely and serene...
