I think we need a break from the house tour, especially since I'm going on another tour next Monday, February 17, which then promises more posts on Mazatlan's lovely homes. This beautiful dog and his three other poodle companions living in the same casa, peered through the safety bars on the window. Joyfully barking at all the passersby, the four of them caught my attention.

What a gorgeous "perro caniche"! :)
Is it a standard size? I always wanted one.
This one has a noble look.
Dogs being dogs, greeting neighbors to play.
beautiful photo, he's looking at something very intently. i've always loved standard poodles...
I saw the bars and this lovely dog and thought for a second it was one from your Mazatlan shelter. Thank goodness he isn't.
Hard to tell the size but he appears the biggest of the three poodles - we call them Standard Poodles in England but in France they are called Caniche Royale.
Your's looks very royal.
Sorry - wrong place for the apostrophe - too early in the morning here....brain isn't functioning or rather the fingers.
It looks like a very alert pooch :)
I know you love dogs, my photo today can please you...
avec son regard, je comprends que tu es craqué et que tu sois venue le voir et le prendre en photo
With his gaze, I understand that you are cracked and that you are coming to see it and take a picture
Dogs barking joyfully is nice! Unfortunately some are taught to bark less joyfully!
I hope this one is a lady because she looks like one. Nice shot.
A poodle behind bars.
What a great shot, Kate!!!
well spotted Kate, he needs combing ;)
Cute ... I thought it was a dog in prison at first. Then after reading your story I understand they are "safety bars".
Nice looking dog!
Kate, When I saw his profile behind bars in the portal thumbnail I thought, "What did he DO!?" Great photo!

So funny! I just left a comment on Alice'blog who published also a photo of dogs (hers) today. A big contrast though from black to white and from hort to curly haired :-)
Nice close up of a cute fuzzy face!
What an elegant and sweet dog! Have you been watching the Westminster Dog Show (do you get it there)?
I also enjoyed your home tour photos very much. :)
What a stunning poodle! My sister has a toy poodle phantom named Iggy at home in Australia, they are the loveliest and yappiest of dogs. Great close-up ... is it just my sister's or do poodles generally love to pose for photos? :)
